Buyer guide
How to import ornamental plants from China
Plant imports are controlled by destination-specific quarantine and customs rules. Start with the botanical plant list and local import requirements, then align the order, inspection, documents and logistics before shipment.
Six-step checklist
Plan the order before booking transport
01
Check import eligibility
Confirm permitted species, import permits, treatments, ports and additional declarations with the destination authority.
02
Prepare the plant list
Use botanical names and state the required pot size, height, form, quantity and destination.
03
Review availability
Compare current nursery stock, photos and specifications before approving the quotation.
04
Confirm commercial terms
Agree pricing, minimum order, payment, responsibilities, route and working shipment schedule.
05
Approve preparation
Confirm the packing, mixed-container loading and export-side phytosanitary process.
06
Review shipment documents
Check the agreed certificate, invoice, packing list and transport documents before hand-off.
